​PNW Climate Week Direct Action Contest

PNW Climate Week contest is a multi-city virtual competition that invites all participants to take direct action as they attend events. At SF Climate Week, many attendees wanted more ways to take direct climate action - so we've added at least one curated Direct Action to every event, each one earning you green leaves (carbon emissions avoided), and building collective direct climate impact. 

This is no small challenge. In just the last year, our planet experienced devastating natural disasters, the hottest year on record, and critical changes in environmental policy. But we can respond. Reduce your climate anxiety, take small, easy and fun steps and we can measure the collective impact!  

Some great prizes are on the line - gift cards to Crossroads Trading, passes to the Woodland Park Zoo, PNW Climate Week Tote Bags, even sets of Wool Dryer Balls. 

This contest is simple. Download the GetGreen app, complete eco-actions, compete for prizes, and create positive impact.



How to participate?

1. Download & Register – Get the GetGreen app and create an account.

2. Set Up –  Answer a few quick start-up questions.

3. Join a Team – If not prompted, go to the Projects > All Projects, then find and join your team.

4. Take Action & Win – The first 40 PNW Climate Week users to earn 50 leaves will win a prize. Be the top leaf earner in your region and earn a $25 Gift Card. And all users who earn at least five leaves are entered into a drawing for the Grand Prize.
