Contest Brief

The Earth Month 2025 sustainability contest is a multi-campus virtual competition that allows students, faculty and staff to take action on climate change. 

This is no small challenge. In just the last year, our planet experienced devastating natural disasters, the hottest year on record, and critical changes in environmental policy. But we can respond. Let’s do our part, taking small steps to create a collective impact.

​This contest is simple. Download the GetGreen app, complete eco-actions, compete for prizes, and create positive impact.

How to participate?

1. Download & Register Get the GetGreen app and sign up with your @uw.edu email.

2. Set Up
  Answer a few quick start-up questions.

3. Join a Team – If not prompted, go to the Projects > All Projects, then find and join your team. 

4. Take Action & Win
Complete eco-actions to earn prizes at key milestones.
